?????? SCUT files?????????

Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong here??? Everytime I try to import SCUT files into the program (I have them saved on my computer), I get the message that SURE CUTS A LOT has to close........and do I want to send an error report to Microsoft.............. Being computer and program STUPID, I don't know what to do!

did you try to open the file rather than import it?

You open SCUT files, you import SVG files. If you can't work with it, maybe the file is bad. Try uploading it here and we can try.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I have been avoiding all these beautiful scut files because they won't import. I am happy to know this. I just tried it and it worked! Thank you.

What am I doing wrong? I am new and need step-by-step instructions. I want to use Susan's edges and lattice cards. I have downloaded the fonts, unzipped them and they are in the fonts. Then I downloaded the pattern to a folder documents\sure cuts a lot. It does not open. Many times when I try it opens Cricut.

Susan has two sets of files on her site...one for the Cricut and one for SCAL. I think you downloaded the wrong file. Go back to her site and get the one for Sure Cuts A Lot

It says if you have Sure Cuts A Lot here is the pattern.

It shouldn't open up DSS because .scut is only for SCAL. Try opening up SCAL and then File>Open Project and then go to the folder where the file is and open that way.

Im so lost. I down load files and then i cant get them to import or use them. Help
