fonts missing?

ok I am fairly new at scal and I have a bunch of fonts that are not showing up in the font drop down. The show up in windows office and I have some others in a folder labled fonts on my desktop. I have use full font scan clicked. but it does not pick up all my fonts. I really want my ding bats to show up and they are not.

SCAL currently doesn't put all of the fonts in alphabetical order... fonts with lower case names are usually at the end, and some of my fonts have @ added to the name and are at the beginning. Also, some fonts show up with different names than the download showed. HTH

no that is not it. I have looked all the way through my listing and they are not in there. I only have a couple of ding bats in there.
