Quilling flowers like....

Post by disney2008 »

the Cuttlebug ones! Is someone here on the Scal forum who can make these into svg's or scut files? I like these flowers a lot and it's very relaxing to make flowers ;) but they are soooo expensive (and on top of that you have to buy an extended pad also for the cuttlebug!) There must be someone out there who is great in Inkscape or other program (unfortunately I'm not  ) ??? Here are some pictures and a link to a YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKRxdRTT ... r_embedded#!

Wow, the pictures are too large to upload, I'll link them here:

I have a small picture so you can see what I'm talking about. I would be foverer thankful to the person who can do this :D

Thanks in advance!

I bought cut paper like this to put together in a antique store about 15yrs ago....the paper was yellowed and brittle and was quite old.....Martha Stewart had something similar with her crepe paper flowers about 10yrs. ago.......the idea has been around along time.

It seems like this would be easy to duplicate without copying the image and tracing it. I'm fighting for time on my computer with my two visiting grandsons, otherwise I would give it a try.

Oh, I'm so looking forward to all your creations! Let me make you a big chocolatecake (that's the only way I can help you with), the only thing is you'll have to come to the Netherlands to eat it  The weather is great here btw !

Have a great day,

Lindsay of Frugal Crafter made an SVG for quilling paper about a year ago. Here's the link: http://thefrugalcrafter.wordpress.com/2 ... -have-one/

Does that help any?

I love those flowers. They are so beautiful.

Oh, I really like these too, thanks for the tip! But I'm still hoping that someone can make the Cuttlebug ones, please please please ! I'm a total flower addict, I've made a great rose out of hearts I cut with my cricut, I showed it to my husband, his reply was: and now what you're going to do with it? I said: just the making of it is very therapeutic

Have a great day!
