A wedding scrapbook/bragbook for a grandmother???
A wedding scrapbook/bragbook for a grandmother???
My grandma has requested a scrapbook for her from my wedding, and I just can't seem to think of anything to cut for it. It seems so simple but I am at a roadblock, I'm probably over thinking it, but does anyone have any ideas on what to use? Any quotes about a graddaughter's wedding, or any images that would be good for such a scrap book would be very much appreciated...I have quite a few wedding related svg's but none of them seem right...help? PLEASE?

You probably are over thinking it. If I know Grandmas, she probably wants pictures of the whole thing....wedding, family, etc.... and she wants it to have your signature art style on it because she thinks you do such wonderful work. I have been scrapbooking for 22ish years and there are pages and albums I would love to do over again if I had a legitimate reason.....well maybe this is your chance to "do over". Just go for it!
Sometimes I go to the on-line digital scrapbook places and look around for ideas and elements when I get stuck. Or I go to the scrapbook "sketches" challenges blogs.
However I would stick with an 12 x 12 style as Grandparents eyes aren't what they used to be.
I am sure Grandmas will love anything you put together!

I made my own album from my son's wedding and am very happy with the result.
I was able to access some papers with a fairy tale theme and used that as the basis of the album. As well as having photos of the day, I also included some from the engagement party. Some of the really great pages are of the night before when the family had gathered for fun and frivolity as well as pampering sessions with nails being done etc. The day after was also scrapped.
While I did have a couple of photos of my daughter-in-law's family, the focus was our family as it was my album. Perhaps this is the type of thing your grandma wants, family memories.
I really think she will be happy with whatever you do but make sure you include lots of family faces.

You could always start with an inside cover of when you were a baby and then some growing up photos.. engagement photo and then your wedding getting ready on the big day and then right to your wedding day
.. Like a step by step through the years...
