fonts for markers, pens

Post by stuartcalls »

Hello All,
I know that Kay for "Clever Some Day" put us on a good path but now that the pen holders for the Cricket have been out for a while I am wondering what FONTS everyone has found for the mini-sharpie markers, micro-markers and the gel pens.?

Have you seen all the posts on my blog. Many new ones have been added.

Also, here are some I am testing now for gel pens but I'm pretty sure would be fine for mini-sharpies.

Hi Kay,

I love your site.....do you have more than 4 single line fonts listed?

funny story (maybe not :o ) my computer is in my bedroom and therefore so is my cricut and I was making a card for a very good friend late Sat. nite . I was using the "rose water" font to write a very sentimental verse. Well.......after 45 min (at 12:30 a.m.) and only 1/3 the way through and wondering when I was going to be able to go to bed,.....my husband who is a good sport just rolled over and went to sleep...but finally I was so tired I just put it on the floor and it just kept on going and going and going for another hour and a half! I dreamed that wrote off the mat and onto my floor!

Thanks for sharing that story. how funny. Wait til you try the filled fonts. Might as well go on vacation and leave them running. I ran out several gel pens just testing them.

There are the 4 single line fonts plus rosewater in the one post.
The other 4 I mentioned above are pretty close to single line fonts

and here are some more of interest but most of these are not free

Diner Skinny and Walkway Oblique are a couple I have seen recommended as well. Also the old favorite Scriptina works OK, too.
Also, Cri-Kits has 2 single line fonts for sale.

Kay,
Thanks for posting. I was just thinking about some of the filled fonts and how loooooooooooong it would take. Vacation? hmmm, one word comes to mind "multi-tasking".

I really like the CK cursive.....can't wait to give some of these a try.

I don't mind paying for something I like...I don't expect to have everything for free.....and yes I "donate".

Thanks,
Eva C.
