Another for the forum. default receive emails

When we post a new topic Can the default be "ON ' to receive emails when there is a reply.
Or is there somewhere in our profile that we can turn it on permanently.

The only way I know of is stay logged on and each time you visit the site use the view new post at the top right side of this screen.

Actually you an set "member preferences" to always notify you of replies to posts you have either initiated or contributed to.
