Picture Added - help in Compound Bow and Arrow

Post by wvcathy »

Anyone have or know where I can find a good file for a compound bow and arrow - 4 year old got one for her birthday - just like daddy's only pink-- have lots of pictures to scrap of her and daddy shooting the bow

Regards,

cathy

If you could post a pic of her bow that would be very helpful, since it looks like there is more than one style. :)

Hope this works i did a print screen of the Bow and Arrow and put it on a Word Document and uploaded the attachment. I have never uploaded a picture and I do not see how to embed one in this response...

Cathy

Not sure if this will help any but I loaded in paint and tried to clean it up a bit - her's is all pink except the white piece right where the hand goes - not the other two places on the bow..

Was also thinking if the line could not be cut because it is too narrow then it might look cute to use black embroidery floss or string of some sort instead of trying to cut it...

Here is my attempt at this. I'm unfamiliar with compound bows, so forgive me if I've really messed up the compound portion of it. I removed the strings since you had mentioned using fibers instead of papers. I do have a version with the strings if you would like it. :D

The bows turned out so cute - but you are right the string on the bow is too thin especially the one farthest out on the right

I put embroidery floss on one with no string and on the other with string I just left it with the 2 strings.....

Thanks again for the help - I love it ,

cathy
