tapered words

Does anyone know how to make a tapered word in scal2. I just can't figure it out... HELP!!!! :oops:

You can ungroup the letters and resize them one by one, but to get a smooth taper you will have to use another program like MSWord (or other MS product with WordArt or similar program with FontWorks) or Inkscape and then print to svg (MS products) or save as svg (inkscape).

Thank you so much, I have inkscape, but I'm not familiar with the program to taper the word. If you could give me some direction I would so much appreciate it... :P

Here's a little graphic that shows how you would do this in Word. Other programs with a wordart or fontworks feature work similarly. It is much more complicated to do in Inkscape. Do a search on some of the inkscape sites for tutorials on envelope deformation.
