New SCAL owner

Post by crafty too »

I received my E yesterday and a few hours later bought SCAL. I am trying to figure out stuff. The first project I want to work on is a mini-book. How tall and long is the norm for the letters to be? I think I figured out the basics on how to make each page.
Also, I think this site is great so far, but whwere can I find more tutorials on SCAL or maybe buy a book?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Yamilka! Welcome to the wonderful world of SCAL! I know you're going to have a great time, and most likely going to wish that the day had more hours in it just so you could play.

Hint #1, you are going to want to get a thumb drive to put all of the Free SVG's and SCAL projects onto. My computer just doesn't have enough memory to hold all of the files!

Here are some free SCAL projects of wordbooks that are already done. Being crafty, i'm sure you will be able to manipulate them to work for you.

And here is the You Tube Vid on how to do it from the same blogger.

Good luck and have fun!
