What am I doing wrong?

So I went to www.dafont.com and downloaded a font. I saved it in a folder on my computer and then went to SCAL to use it. It wasn't on the fonts list so I tried "load font file" but when I went to the folder where I saved it, it wasn't showing up. So I went to the folder that I'd saved it to, outside of SCAL and it was there and I checked properties and it was saved as a .ttf file. What am I missing or doing wrong? TIA! I'm obviously new to this.

Right click on the file you downloaded and a list should open .. In it should be install .. click on the install..
