trouble with installing a font

hi, I was trying to download a font AKACHEN. I see it in my font file (I downloaded it correctly - extracted to font folder).... but it doesn't show up in my font folder in SCAL2? I have downloaded several others so I know Im doing the steps correctly. Any suggestions as to why it may not show up? I have even restarted my computer. Is there something Im missing? Anyone else having trouble?

That font starts with a lower case letter so look for it at the bottom of your font list. Not sure why SCAL alphabetizes upper and lower case separately, but it does.
