Hi, everyone. I am trying to make a greek key border for a very large project but the pieces of paper I am cutting it with are rather small. So the end file needs to just be approximately 7.75 x 6
I created a file in inkscape using a .gif file and repeating it several times. Then I saved it as a svg file. When I imported it in to SCAL it shows up blank! Can anyone please help me with this? I must be missing a step somewhere.
Please and thank you, thank you, thanks you! The end item is actually going to be auctioned off to benefit a school.
blessings,
Anastasia

Re: Greek key border
I believe that you can do "Trace Image" with the gif file directly in SCAL2.

Re: Greek key border
When doing this in inkscape you must do a trace image first as well.. The x marks are because it's not traced.. Those are the actualy jpegs or gifs before traced..

Re: Greek key border
Thank you for your input. I forgot to say I only have SCAL 1. and when I import the file to SCAL it is just blank, no red Xs.
I will try tracing. Well I actually have and it came up with a totally different image. Its very wavy and the original image is very block-like.
