Inkscap tp SCAL

Sometimes when we edit or alter an image in Inkscape upon opening that file in scal the image does not show up and the image dimensions (Width and Height) show up as negitive numbers. What are we doing wrong??? Please help!

I would guess that you are using Inkscape 0.47. Make sure that everything is Ungrouped, then use Path/Union on each of the components. Sometimes it is necessary to copy the artwork, then paste it into a new document. HTH
