Free SVG files

Post by bearilu »

Just wanted to let you know that you can go to the following website http://mamawslegacy.wordpress.com/ for FREE svg files.

Mary Powell is a very good friend of mine and when I found out about SCAL, I told her about it and she decided to include the svg files on her blog and website. She does files in many different extensions on Inkscape, so if you have other than a Cricut, you can also grab the files. All her files are zipped so downloading is quick. So have fun!

Her work is gorgeous and she's so wonderful to share.

I've got a question though. I printed one today with the Cricut and pen and on the part where she has her name and credits, I'm afraid if I cut it, that it will just cut that part of the cardstock to mush and make it jam. Is there a way to remove the text credits prior to cutting?

you can open the svg file in inkscape & delete the text then save & import into scal.
