I, too, would love to have a link to the pattern, if it can be shared. I can see something like that with a 2008 on the top, for graduation.

I don't think it's wrong to charge for the boxes. Yes people are sharing designs, but she has done a lot of designs, not just a few. And, she is giving 3 of them away for free. I personally don't have a need for boxes, at least at the moment, so I probably won't buy them, but I can't blame her for charging. I am looking forward to seeing the other fonts she said she would be working on.

Some people put their business link as part of their signature and they sell stuff on their sites. Perhaps she could have posted the box she uploaded then added something to the affect of "I have many boxes available for a nominal fee at my website. You can download three free samples.", and left it at that. I don't think that would be offensive at all.

I don't have a problem with this. I like having the choice to buy or donate if I want them.. I agree with wreed .. and if someone can make something I want and I can't do it or have the time to do it.. then I will donate to get the items..

I donated and downloaded the font but I can't download the cheat sheet, it keeps saying file not found. Can you upload it?

I don't have a problem with donating either. Is it you can only GET the boxes IF you donate? Or can you download it anyhow THEN have the option to donate after?

I support artists who take the time to do/make stuff then share their knowledge to the rest of us after and a small donation helps them continue to do so. I initially thought SCAL would operate that way but it doesn't matter, the $$ paid for it is still worth it.
