I'm getting so frustrated .... Everytime I cut on Vinyl the edges are bumpy or jagged instead of a smooth line.
My photo is a sample of how the edges look)
I've tried changing speed, blade depth, pressure, updating to SCAL 2, updating cricut format, different fonts, tweaking nodes in Ink .... Nothing seems to help.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem???

Looks like there are alot of nodes that need to be cleaned up. You can only do that in Ink. What font were you using?

Dan on our blog has a real good way with vinyl. You might pm him. But we would really need to see your svg file to see what is really going on. It maybe your blade is tugging at the vinyl and streatching it some. The blade itself maybe the problem.
I did however find the webisite that talks about the deep cut blade. He says it isn't absolutely necessary to use one but he found it works best.
Again I suggest you ask Dan he works and makes beautiful vinyl things.
Here is the url for the deep cut blade.

Re: HELP... jagged edges on fonts
So I just tried cutting the same file on my baby bug instead of the expressions and it cut beautifully.
So I'm assuming it's something to do with the machine?
The font I'm using is Aquarelle

if worked perfect on other machine then this may not be it.. but todd (talenhart) said vinyl has a grain kinda like fabric hope that makes sense..so maybe if you try laying it a different way on the mat?? just a thought
