can l get scal 1 re activated please so disillusioned with scal 2 always problems and l never had problems with 1

I would guess YES. The SCAL folk are very supportive and respond quickly. I'm surprised that your SCAL1 doesn't work since we thought that both versions still reside on your computer. Did you delete SCAL1? whatever, contact SCAL support and I'm fairly certain they will help you be sure to tell them what you did when you downloaded SCAL2.
