I'm not an expert here but I think you just need to change the blade.
I just used the blue housing because I got deep cut blades set from Cricut.
Hope to get that Roland 60 asap
best,

Hi
I have a few questions about these blades
So what are the benifits of these blades?
Will I still need to do multi cuts if cutting through cardboard?
Would there be any benifit using these blades all the time? I can get a set of 3 here in Aust on ebay for around $20 Aust. That's 3 for the price of 2 standard cricut ones.

Cheers

Craig

Update

I just found this and it confusses the issue in what blades to get

well benefit is you can cut thicker material without the deep blade holder.
depends on your cardstock if you still need to do multi cut I guess, certainly cuts stamping rubber with one cut.
No need to use them all the time the normal blade has a different angle 45 degrees and cuts thinner papers better :-)
Im in oz to but bought mine ex USA ebay got 6 even with postage was cheaper than 2 blades in oz.

Thank you so much for the info. The ad does confuse the issue a bit though doesn't it?
I will definitely try ebay.
