Under the Sea LO...my first with SCA!

Post by CBJPL31 »

After much frustration and learning I finally figured out how to make shadows in Inkscape and here's my first creation! I'm very excited! The LO features a project my daughter made in her preschool last week.
The TTF I used is called Bubble Club found at http://www.dafont.com

That is so cute! I especially love the happy large fish at the top. Thanks for sharing your idea. Nice work!

That's Flounder from The Little Mermaid. Made him with my DCT cart. :)
After I took and posted this pic I put small "google" eyes on the turtle and red fish. They're so cute!! :)

That is gorgeous Nicole!! I've really got to learn how to use inkscape, i've got so far as downloading a tutorial, but no further :( I need to make some time.

Love the layout, TFS

Thank you!
I have a very short patience for learning via "words" I'm a hands-on person so I need to actually "do" something to learn it. I learned most of what I know in Inkscape through trial and error...after quickly reading and picking out key points from the tutorial. I really think if you just jump in and start clicking away you'll learn faster. I was so afraid of it at first but now I feel completely comfortable...thanks to everyone here who has provided such great info as a jumping off point for me!

She did it at preschool so I'm not sure but it looks like salt and when I got it on my hands it tasted salty....chewing my cuticles is a bad habit. lol
