SCAL 5, traced image editing, add a node

Love the trace quality of my scal 5.
I know how to delete and move nodes, single or in groups.
Don't see how to ADD a node to a shape.
In other vector editing software I have used, there is a way to modify the shape by adding a node here and there. Is it there and I am just missing it? Is that option in PRO?

To add a node you need to use the Draw Tool function (5th icon down on the Tools Panel). Below shows a screenshot from my SCAL5 User Manual:

I would select my shape. Then try to use that tool. I was not getting that + sign ON an existing drawing. It kept placing a new node on a new line so when I moved my cursor it was trying to have me draw a new line/shape.

I finally have the knack of getting it ON the existing shape.

Appreciate the link to the manual. I switched computers last year and lost that link.
