red box/yellow box

Post by CBJPL31 »

What is the difference? I'm not even sure how it happens sometimes but sometimes when I move a box, it turns yellow. Why is this? What is it?
Also...why can't we move our boxes outside the dashed line? sometimes I really want to do this. It aggervates me to no end when it get stuck in a certain spot and won't move over more!

I concur. I asked for a fix to this in the wish list a while back.

I'm not sure about the color boxes, but I can move my boxes outside the dashed lines if I use the nudge buttons. I can't do it if I drag them with my mouse, but I can with the buttons in the shape properties window. Some dingbats have a lot of extra margin around them and it was annoying until I discovered the nudge buttons.

This is so helpful to know! Thank you. Your reason is exactly the same reason it annoys me!
