More efficient cutting - still relevant for SCAL3 and eCAL
I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but when you cut something, it cuts from side to side and top to bottom. When you have something with a lot of little cuts repeated along the mat, the blade can spend a lot of time moving back and forth along the mat between cuts. When I cut the shape below it took at least twice as long as it should have because it would make the same cut on the each of the identical ornaments, then move to the next lower cut. It would be great if there were some kind of proximity logic added.

Re: More efficient cutting
I noticed this, too, Heather. The software is definitely not optimized for speed. This is a great idea.
