SCAL Lib it up
Somebody may already have posted this, but, I'm in the process of learning how to use scal and have just learned how to add files to the scal library. I had a whole folder of scallops I wanted to add, but, as I learned the first time I tried to export them all, while it won't prevent you from doing that, when you go into sure cuts a lot only 10 show up. So I had to do it again in groups of 10 so instead of just importing all the scallops together in one folder I had to do it in groups (scallops 1, 2, and 3) and do it 3 separate times, and remove and try to keep track of all the files I'd already imported so I didn't do it twice. It's really annoying and would be a lot better if it could all be imported together, and, to just have all the shapes in one place. (Love this program btw, no offense intended). I just think it would be a real improvement if possible to allow users to import more than 10 files at a time. There's more than 10 basic shapes I think so I would think that could be done. Anyway, thanks for listening

Re: SCAL Lib it up
Hi
I found it only showed up 10 as well so I dont use the feature which is a pity.
Maybe someone else has more success?

Lib It Up product page on the CraftEdge website specifically says it will only allow you add 10 SVG files. I agree, it's not very much. It could have to do with the efficiency of time it would take to load the images. I keep my SVG and SCAL files in a directory scheme similar to what we have on the forum. That way, I have things grouped in a familiar way on my computer as they are here.
IMHO, I don't see the ability to load only 10 files to be much of an advantage. But, maybe we're expecting it to do more than the original intent. Basic shapes, are shapes after all (triangles, squares, circles, etc.), not really images (animals, flowers, even flourishes), if that makes sense.

Yeah I'm with you on this one, it's heaps easier to have them all in files within files, much the same set up as on this forum in the svg categories.
Seems to work just fine
