Grouping/Welding

I would like to see a permanent welding option when you have things the way you want them:

Application 1: create multiple cuts on a sheet without having to recreate the placement each time of words you wanted conjoined, say of two different fonts.

Application 2: move an item on the mat after a test cut without things shifting (without counting cursor ticks).
