I can't get keep proportions to work on scal 4 pro

Hi I cant get scal 4 pro to keep proportions of anything at all. I am up to date on my updates so Im lost as to why this is happening. Im truing to use the lower right hand corner to do this (dragging) as I used to do this in scal 2 with no problems . Thanks for any help you can give :)

Try going to your position/size menu on the right and see if you have "keep proportions checked. If not check it and try again. Else talk to support@craftedge.com.

Also, if you're using the arrows at the lower right hand corner, don't forget to hold the SHIFT key, then click and drag to lock in the proportion function using the mouse.

There are 2 options in the Preferences that will determine how Keep Proportions works in SCAL.

1. "Keep Proportions as default" will auto check the "Keep Proportions" checkbox in the Properties window for all objects created.

2. "Do no keep proportions on Free Transform". if this is checked, then if you use the resize handles to drag to resize a shape on the mat, it will not Keep Proportions (even if the Keep Proportions checkbox is checked). In this case the "Keep Proportions" checkbox in the Properties window only applies if you manually enter numbers for the width or height.

When dragging the handles to resize, you can hold down the Shift key and that will have it keep proportions
