Mac vs PC , plugging in old pazzles?

I have just purchased a mac computer, as the old PC died. The old PC had my pazzles inspiration software on it... As I now have a mac and If I purchase a sc a lot 2 or 3 for a mac, can I just plug in my old pazzles inspiration machine that I used to use on my old PC? .. Do I need a registration number for the pazzles? To make it work with the SC a lot?
