Re: Sewing Fonts
Oh my gosh! I love these fonts. Especially the Treadle Sewing Machine one. I can't wait to cut this out. I just bought an old treadle sewing machine. Awesome. Thanks for finding and sharing these.
Re: Sewing Fonts
Would you mind putting this under Font Links (above) so we don't lose this? Thank you!
Re: Sewing Fonts
Is there any way to actually SEE the fonts without having to download them? I prefer to only download things I know I'll use and I have NO IDEA if I'll use something based on the name only.

Here is a sample of the Treadle Sewing Machine font. You can use Inkscape to separate the initial from the sewing machine and then cut out in SCAL. I love it!

Re: Sewing Fonts
I just tried typing the name of a sewing font from http://grannymademe.com/fonts/Sewing/ into my computer search engine to see if I could look at it first and nothing came up. When I download fonts, I download them to my desk top. That way I can look at them before placing them in my font folder. If I don't like it, I will delete it. The Singer Mears font has stitching around the edges of the alpha. Really neat.
