new printer

ihope someone can help me with my problem.i have just bought a new printer ,but cannot get my ecal to work with it.it just says not responding.it will work with the cartridges.i have windows 7.

Hi, you don't say which version of SCAL you have but you might need a "driver" for the printer somewhere or a different USB cable. I suggest you contact support@craftedge.com giving them all the information about your SCAL, your Printer brand, and your vs of WIN7.

i did say that i had ECAL .i have tried to install the drivers for ECAL,but get the error message"failed to install the driver,error-536870347"

Sorry about not "seeing" that you had said eCAL....eyes and brain not working together properly anymore.

Anyway, have you see this about how to install drivers in Win? if you have and it still doesn't work you will need to discuss it with support at craftedge.

It could be something as simple like making sure your printer you are using is selected for the printing and not your old one. Try going to your computer start and go to printers and devices and make sure your new printer is set as the default printer.
