Plastic cups

Post by Paula Anne »

HI everyone. I have been doing a lot of vinyl on glassware. One of my friends asked if I could do it on plastic ie:tumblers etc. Has anyone else tried this?
Thanks!

You can use the 'search' here and find some, or 'search' the web and find a zillion. I don't know if they are dishwasher safe though?...hmmm

Yes, I've done several on plastic tumblers with no problem. I hand-washed them and the vinyl never came off.

I have seen lots of examples of vinyl on plastic double wall tumblers, it would seem to be a very popular technique ;)

I have not tried myself, although I would recommend thoroughly washing and drying them first, with other projects I have found that products may have residue left on them from the manufacturing process which has resulted in the vinyl not sticking nearly as well as it should :)
