First Title made.....but got a problem.

Thanks to gj1 for answering my last post, I have now managed to make my first title......well nearly.

I have made Head, Shoulders, knees and Toes and shadowed but the 'r' in shoulders is not shadowing.

Any advice on why or what to do to make it shadow.

I have attached the SVG so you can have a look at what I am meaning.

You can go to Cutter at the top and Preview to see the red lines that will cut. You can double check your welding this way. Without looking at the file, I am thinking that maybe only part of the words are welder and the r got left out by it's own. You could move it in a bit and Union again and then copy paste and shadow.

It is showing the red lines on the r for the letter cut but it is still missing on the shadow.

I have removed and copy and pasted and redone and it is still the same on the shadow

If it is showing a red line all around the r...then the r is not Unioned to the rest...

you will see where the letters are overlapped and make a connection. You do that and put a box around everything and go to
Path Union.

The r is welded to the other letter, there is a red and grey line on the r.

I have used the path union and it removes the r like in the shadow

Sounds like you have 2 r's...can you go to Window and Layers and look to see if you have an extra r, and delete it.

ok think I have got it. I had a break and came back started again and did the union path, shadow and it has worked.
