Craft Edge

I'm trying to remove the bottom line of an image to weld it to a page border. Is there a way this is easily done in Inkscape?

I am trying to use this border, in varying heights, to make a layered page background. I am having a hard time with Inkscape though. Can anyone help me clean it up?

I've been altering tons of page edges lately- where the middle is not cut out. But recently I've taking a liking to frames so I will be sure to put both to good use!

While I am currently obsessed with cutting page backgrounds, does anyone have a zigzag page edge file that they wouldn't mind sharing? I have seen a few but the zigzags are curved- I am looking for a traditional pinking shear zigzag.

I am looking for a page edge that has small hearts around the border. I found a svg file of one on someone's blog, but the hearts were too big when I resized it. Can anyone help me with this?

Well, I tried out the version that was modified using dynamic offset and it worked great! I cut 3 layers and just re-assembled the parts. I love the stained glass look.
