Re: svg "packages" of items

Thanks very much for your help girls, yes I need to learn inkscape, whether I find it easy enough is another matter, but its a necessary evil I think. The patterns come all in one file and they will need to be separated in inkscape. Hope to have to chance to do that tomorrow.

svg "packages" of items

Can anyone help. I have bought svg files, eg santa, how do I take the bits that are all packaged together and split them so that I can maybe cut out the beard and hair, and then hat and gloves all separate so that I dont need to cut everything out of each sheet of card? I am presuming I will have to...

Re: Warranty invalidation if using SCAL

I have to say, if it had not been for SCAL I would never have considered the cricut, so PC should be happy that SCAL is available. I am sure I speak for lots of others too. I have never had a problem with SCAL as it only sends info to cut to the circut, just like your computer sends printer info to ...

Re: scut file to svg

Thanks for your advice. I am no good at this inkscape nonsense, but looks like I will have to try it. I hate cutting out things when I have the cricut that can do it much faster and neater. So I need to get a grip and either make the scal files or learn inkscape  I was really hoping for some so...

scut file to svg

Hiya folks, would appreciate any advice.

I have created a file in scut, how do I save this to svg so that I can open it in inkscape?

Thanks in anticipation.
