I don't know if this has been discussed before. I know there is interest in viewing SVG files. I just discovered that on my Mac I can view the thumbnails through Finder. I already know that I can open a file and it will come up on my monitor. I hope someone will make a browser for windows because that is where I have SCAL.

Tex,
Do you have Snow Leopard (10.6.x)? I had heard that was going to be a new feature but had not heard anyone use it yet.
In earlier versions you can see SVGs using Quickview, but regular finder view would be awesome.

Yes Kay, I just got Snow Leopard for Christmas. Guess that's why I never noticed the thumbnails before. Great feature!

Thanks for the tip! I have a Mac, and I keep my finder in "columns" view. On the right hand side - where the info about the file is - there is just an SVG icon. But because I read your post, I pressed the space key to try and preview and there they all were!! Yay!
