OK, i gave in & got SCAL, b/c i have like 4,000+ fonts ( i have always loved fonts)
Question, and i can't seem to locate any answer, so i sure do appreciate anyone chiming in---
as i am creating in SCAL, my view of the work area mat is kinda zoomed in, meaing on only see 6x12 inches (although i have it set on the 12x24 mat & even tried 12x12)
is there a "view" or way i can zoom out? so i can see the entire page i am working on????
Help!?
it drives me crazy not to see the whole thing as i am constructing.....

Do you have the screen maximized? I'm running windows--but I can maximize the SCA screen by clicking on the box at the top right corner. By doing this, I can see most of the mat on 12X12

Jeanette,

Welcome to the SCAL message board! I referred you 'over here' because 'they' don't like questions about SCAL 'over there'. <smile!>

I think what you have going on is a 'screen resolution' problem. My assumption is that you set your computer up to the recommonendations of Design Studio minimums. I had problems with those 'minimums'.

My screen resolution is set at 1440 x 900 but those numbers need not be set in stone for anyone. It depends on the monitor - so play around with your resolution (found under "Display" in control panel).

I've included a screen shot of what I 'see' when viewing a 12x12 mat. There is a substantial difference compared to what you are 'seeing'.

Hope this helps!

Shari

Forgot to add: I also don't think you have your SCAL screen 'maximized'. Move your properties box out of the way and click on the maximize button in the upper right corner of SCAL.
