Have you emailed tech support? Try that.....I'm on a Mac also, but on 10.6.2. Mine is running fine for designing. I haven't had a chance to cut anything the past couple of days. So, once I go back to cutting I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. I have version 2.003.

I have a mac, too and had the same problem. Are you unplugging your machine between each cut?? I have to unplug the usb from my keyboard (thats the USB port I use) between each cut. just break the connection between each cut. Try it!

I have a Mac running 10.5 with SCAL 2.003. What version of SCAL are you using?
I moved the serial driver from the systems.
I don't understand this. What does this mean? I didn't do anything with any serial driver. My SCAL works fine - or mostly fine. It crashes occasionally, perhaps you are trying to cut something that is causing the crash - it's not very hard.

On a guess unplug the Cricut from your keyboard. The keyboard usb ports just aren't powerful enough for anything but a mouse. Plug the Cricut directly into your computer.
