Re: help installing inkscape
search for the inkscape folder on your computer, once you find it, delete it & try again.

I dont know how to check for this i deleated the program and it is no longer on my computer so where do I check.
Re: help installing inkscape
you should have a "start" button that you can click to search for programs.
right click that & then click "search".
a window will open & you can search for it that way. once you locate it, select & delete it.
if all else fails, turn off your computer & turn it on again

I was able to install inkscape but it is still giving me the same message the application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. what does that mean and how do I fix it.

Odd...... hmmmmmmmmmm....
Uninstall again.
Shut the computer completely off.
Wait a few minutes.
Turn the computer back on.
Download the file again.
Install.
Let us know what happens........

Re: help installing inkscape
I think the term is called 're-boot between installs'. Clears out the memory or some such thingy on the computer.
