Have a link on my blog explaining what I did to cut out this image along with some ideas for variations on the "You're a Star!" theme.
I also have a zip file available with the stars and text available if you would like to try using any of them and a couple of svg files.

Awesome job, Laura! I had no idea you could do such sophisticated photo manipulation in Inkscape. Thanks so much for the thorough, easy to follow tut!
