I'm really behind. Here is a Halloween Shape Book I made while following the talented Bug Junkie!

This shape book is so cute. Just curious...when I opened up this file, I couldn't figure out what these letters were for. Would you please tell me what they are? Thanks for sharing your awesome files.

I'm sorry there is extra letter in there. I just opened it up and on mine I don't have those. My first thought was "great one of the kids started typing while my back was turned"

Here is the file by itself. Will you check it for me? Maybe I'm missing something.
Thanks

The letters are unconverted dingbats. Did you leave some characters in for piecing over the pages? It looks like the font is KR Bootown. Anyone that doesn't have that font will see the letters in whatever font is their default. HTH

So I haven't seen my computer for awhile Heather thank you for your information. I created my file in inkscape, I must have missed a step for the fonts. I know if you use a font in Scal, others have to have that font on their computer. Is it the same in inkscape, or what step am I lacking? Thanks so much
Crystal

If the font is converted to Path (or Path/Union for Ink47) they don't need the font, and it needs to be converted anyway to cut. I often leave unconverted text in my box files for directions since it only shows in Inkscape not in SCAL.

If the font isn't converted to Path it won't cut in SCAL, and the font will need to be either installed or opened on the computer to show the dingbat characters in Inkscape and convert them to Path. HTH
