Craft Edge

New to inkscape, I try to follow the instructions to no avail.
When I type a letter, I double click on it to see if I can move it but no
luck. Can someone please tell me what i,m doing wrong?

Carmen - there is an forum just for Inkscape on this MB - If you click on board index you will see Inkscape has it's own place. You will find lots of answers there.
