How do I update my software to 1.1 so I can use SCA?

Hi. I just heard about this progra and checked my cricut machine and it is Version 1.0 I understand it has to be 1.1 I checked Provocrafts website but can't find the trial version that updates my firmware. Can anyone give me some directions? I appreciate your help! Thanks!

Ok, I got it updated and my SCA downloaded but haven't yet purchased the program. It sounds like a fabulous program and am just wanting to make sure I understand it before I put out the money. I did manage to look at it by just cancelling when it asked for the activation code. It seems like there will be endless possibilies with any true type font, but what I'm really curious about is.....you can't load your paper without a cartridge in the machine sooooo....how do you do this so you can use one of your true type fonts you choose to cut out??? Once you have the full version and you are connected to your computer, does a button magically appear? lol Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated so I feel comfortable putting out the money. You just need to have a cartridge in the cricut for it to work. I don't know why. Any cartridge will do. I just leave Geaorge in it all the time. BUT it won't cut george if you go through SCAL. It's just that the machine NEEDS a cartridge to run...
