Hi,
Anybody using Graphtec cutters to cut chipboard and card stock? What’s the heaviest card stock and chip board you’ve cut? I’m considering a Graphtec CE7000.
Thanks

I just looked up the Graphtec 7000 and the maximum cutting force is only 450 g which is quite low compared to most other cutters which can handle materials like heavy cardstock and light chipboard. The fact that Graphtec doesn't even mention materials beyond vinyl, HTV, and window tint film indicate that the company doesn't market to those who want to cut more.

If you're interested in a cutter than CAN handle cutting these materials PLUS has the latest technology in automatic contour cutting, check out the Skycut machines. The C model has 800 g of cutting force and the V and D models have 2000g. Here's the web site where they are sold in the USA:

And you can also contact me directly with questions. My email is smccauley45@cox.net.

Hi Sandy,
Thanks for that info on the Graphtec.
Yes, I had checked out Skycuts before considering Graphtec.
Other than plottergeeks, are there any other dealers in the US or who will ship to the US?
Thanks

You can TRY ordering directly from Skycut in China. Also, I think Alibaba sells it. Is there some reason you do not want to buy it from Plotter Geeks?
