question when determining size
Ok so I've been making magnets with my cricut at 1 1/2 inches. But if I want to use SCAL images how do I get the same size? It never comes out right when I put in the sizes.

Re: question when determining size
You say you are using your Cricut to cut magnets at 1.5 inches, but the size isn't the same when you use SCAL. Are you using the true size option with your carts? If you aren't, then your cuts with the carts are usually smaller than the dial size. The dial size is based on the largest shape in the cart.
If you want an exact size in SCAL you can either set the default size in the library window before you import the image, or you can select your image after importing, and set the size in the Properties box (with the Keep Proportions box selected). HTH
