Does anyone out there still have the trial version 1.6?

I have paid for my software and am waiting for it to clear. But I updated, and now I can't even open the software to create designs. It's killing me! Paypal says it won't clear for 5 days. Is that how long the rest of you had to wait? Don't they know they are dealing with desperate ladies here?
Sheesh! I can't live that long without SCAL!

If there is anyone who would email me version 1.6 so I can play until the 31st, would you please PM me?

My transaction only took seconds to complete. But, I used a credit card. Did you use an electronic check? That may be why it takes so long to clear.
You should still be able to open the software in the trial version and design. Just not cut yet.

you need to set it to credit in paypal not debit for it to clear right away. however it is to late for this transaction

Also, doesn't seem that the trial version is working anymore...I downloaded the latest SCAL version and cannot use it as a trial...says it has expired. Bummer!

The trial version only works for three days.

I completely uninstalled the old trial version I had (which didn't stop working after 3 days, by the way) and installed a fresh version, the new version, and still won't let me use it as a trial. ?????

I did the same thing as you Stephenie. I had been using the old trial for a few weeks until I had money (we try not to buy things with our credit cards). I just got my paycheck and so I paid for it, and our paypal account was supposed to be set up to pay with credit cards, but for some reason it looks like it has been changed. I didn't realize until too late. I installed the update and now it won't even open.
Guess I'll be playing in Inkscape for a few days.

Sorry you're having the issue, but am glad to hear I'm not the only one that cannot get the trial version anymore.

I know we all think this here anyways, but I just had to add that Todd is seriously awesome! He just sent a a serial number so that this impatient person (me) can play with SCAL even though the echeck hasn't cleared.

He has my vote. For anything. Todd for President!
