I have trouble with SCAL when I click and drag, if I drag for more that a few seconds SCAL quits responding and freezes. Is there a fix for this.

It was doing that for us on Vista (Not sure if that's what you're running or not) but this is what fixed it for us.

On the shortcut to SCAL right click and go to properties

Click the Compatibility Tab

Use the dropdown menu to select Windows XP (service pack 2)
