Craft Edge

I thought I had seen some great monogram ideas here. I am having a hard time. Does anyone have a good font to use. I want to etch a glass vase for my son's kindergarten teacher, but I can't seem to get the letters to look right. Any ideas of a font that would work well? The letters always seem to look not quite porportionate.

If you just set the 2 outer letters in a smaller size the proportions will not be right. I use the wordart feature in msword to shape the outer boundaries of the letters instead.
