Missing nose in inkscape

Hi I am new here and have been using inkscape successfully until now. For this image I was able to get the outline but the nose will end up disappearing and the collar ends up shrinking. Can someone help me find out what I'm doing wrong? Thanks so much=)

Could you post the svg file? Without seeing the file, I would guess that you either didn't convert the nose to path or you used Object/group. SCAL misinterprets that and does some strange things.
For the collar, do you have a large stroke setting that might make you think your shapes/images are larger than they are?

Actually I deleted the svg because it didn't work out. Can someone help me please?
