Video Tutorial - Alpha and Opacity

I had a help request from someone who was having trouble with some of the shape tools, they didn't seem to be working. It was easier to make a quick video to explain what was going on, and to use her particular problem to illustrate some general points about transparency in Inkscape. I hope some of you also find it useful.

I'm off to watch! Love your videos! I just got done designing a word book, that came out awesome, because of wathcing your video!!! Your the man!!! Thanks for all you do!

ahhh...saw you had another great video went to see it and my sound says no output!!! what!?!? have to get it fixed so I can hear you...cant wait to try..once I can hear what your saying also!!

Thanks for making the video. I am fairly new to Inkscape and I love learning more about it.
