I just but a deep blade housing and tried cutting some light chipboard on my baby bug and it just won't work with the SCAL file.
The letters just get cut up and its like the blade was lost on the mat. The chipboard was definately not moving around I used a new mat. At one point it was cutting outside the cut zone on the mat.
The housing cuts fine with the cartridges

Does anyone else have this problem? Will I be able to fix it? Help me please!!

SCAL has no control over the blade housing per se and should work with either blade housing if it's going to work at all. Either you had the housing installed incorrectly or a bad SCAL file.

Some cutting programs do this as a watermark if you only have the trial version. It will begin to cut, but then will slice thru your design instead of finishing.

Thanks for the replies. I took the housing out and reinstalled and it works now. I guess it was just a little off.
