my paper was tearing in the cricut so i went and stopped it i am using SCAL but now i cannot get my apaper out it is saying on my cricut canceling and it will not do any thing what do i do ?
i keep pressing unload and it is doing nothing helppppppppppppppppp

never mind i got it out but why is it every time i cut something the paper is tearing ?

Try setting your speed and pressure to lower settings. If the file you're cutting has lots of detail the paper will tear if on a faster speed. Hope this helps.

This happens to me also when I cancel the cutting. I simply turn off the Cricut and then back on again. The cutting mat automatically releases. Try this next time.
