How to cut small circles

Post by Ilanko »

Hi Guys....
I’m using GCC jaguar VLX for plotting designs.

I’m Having a problem of cutting small circles ( for example.... letter “ i “ as the Dot on the up tend to fall out when we do the weeding....

Is there any setting that I can use in the Sure cut a lot to avoid this problem.

Thanks guys....

It's not a software or cut setting issue... unless the little dot isn't cut cleanly. It's a common thing that happens with vinyl and small shapes because the backing sheet, by design, isn't supposed to be sticky to the adhesive on the vinyl. If you're planning to apply this yourself to a hard surface, such as glass, then don't weed ahead of time. Weed after it's on the glass and the fact that the adhesive is stuck down on the glass will make those small shapes far less likely to come up.

Another tip.. When I do vinyl applications, I usually cut extras of anything small... dots on "i's, apostrophes, hyphens, etc. just so I can replace any that get lost.
